Knotting My Wave

Put some design on your floor to make it more realistic. Via the radial marquee tool, create an oval or round shape on your image. Go to the menu: Select-Feather then set the feather amount to 10. Proceed to Filter-Distort-wave to make your knot a bit hazy. Then go to the menu: Filter-Sharpen-Sharpen Edges to make your knot appear sharp and real, then press Control and D to deselect the image.
