Upgrading to Photoshop Elements

Photoshop is useful in doing many basic photographic editing and effects. Photoshop is useful in restoring old photographs, making greeting cards, web page design, photographic effects such as image combination and background designs, resizing and cropping images etc. All these are achievable through the basic operating principles of Photoshop which is layering. All these are also present in Photoshop Elements. There are however some added features that are not present in Photoshop. Photoshop Elements is best for home users and hobbyists alike because of its professional graphic design features such as recording custom actions for batch processing, advanced color management and advanced web features and image ready, etc.
