Vanishing Point Tool

An interesting new tool in the tPhotoshop CS2 is the Vanishing Point tool. This spin-tingling tool lets die-hard Photoshop fans clone, paint, and transform boring images and remove unwanted objects in a photo while keeping faithful to the visual perspective. I used this once to trick my colleagues and it worked! Of course, afterwards, they insisted on letting them in on the secret. Well, this is available under the versatile Filter menu. When you think a picture needs improvement, this tool is likely going to be your best choice.

In the Vanishing Point dialog box, you can find the Create Plane Tool. This lets you define the perspective planes of the picture you want to work at. Simply click four points in the image to create a grid. If you have chose a correct perspective, the grid will appear blue, otherwise it will be in color red or yellow. Don’t rush and take your time because you have to be more than accurate so don’t stop clicking.

After getting your perspective grid right, the next thing you do is to edit the image using the marquee, clone, or paintbrush tools. When you have copied the marque selection, you can click one of the Heal options. This tool seamlessly fades the copied selection into the whole image.

The good thing about this function is that it lets you edit or remove objects from your pictures. It’s like magic.
