Have you ever seen pictures that really rock the wild person in you? Well, if you have not, go to a place that has sidewalk murals. No, not those classy murals or flowery wall designs. Spot those nasty, gruesome, and seemingly unclean wall paints. More of vandalism as you call it, but it's an art for someone who did it. One design that is quite bothering is blood splatter. Adobe Photoshop created this design for all those who want attitude on images.
Friday, May 11. 2007
What comes to your mind when you see a blood splatter? For some, like me, it's terrifying to see dripping blood. For others, on the other hand, it pleases their eyes because they feel like a gothic or dark sensation that makes them feel more alive. Blood splatter brushes are for these people who want to express their wild personality. Not all blood splatter brushes users are wild though. It's just that the design itself really has an attitude that exudes more mystery.

So, if you want some rockin' in your template, better download this photoshop brush now. You can also paint with the blood splatter brush to express your anger instead of shouting and punching the wall. Who knows? You might unconsciously create an artistic masterpiece. You should try it especially when you're really frustrated because of your girlfriend who cheats on you, and circumstances like that. The bottomline is put some attitude on your design.

Make pictures look older without compromising the photo realistic quality though Adobe. The easiest and costless way to age pictures is through the powerful Photoshop Brushes. First, open your image or picture that you want to edit, then double the layer to save a second copy. In photoshop menu, click the icons Image-Adjust-Desaturate or press simultaneously the shift, control and letter U keys in your keyboard to take away the hues of your photo and produce an image in greyscale.
Next, add some color to the uncolored layers by clicking Image-Adjust-Hue/ Saturation or press (Ctrl-U). Open your color palate and click the colorized box and draw the color sliders upward and downward to see the result of the image, then click on OK to put the changes in the image. Add another layer to adjust your palate's opacity if you want to blacken or brighten the borders of the photo or mix some colors to the image. Using more layers gives the picture more depth. Click the Filter-Noise-Add Noise icons on the toolbar and select the amount of noise you want to include to the photo, then click preview to see how it changes the image. You can choose monochromatic or polychromatic noise if you need to add colors on the aged picture.

Photoshop means incomparable flexibility and convenience. It's here where you can create your own customized brushes that take just a few mouse-clicks to finish. Anyone, even your cute baby sister can create one of her own. This simple tutorial will guide you along the way in creating a custom brush that you can use in Photoshop anytime.
First, you need to create a new layer for the brush to be painted on. Be reminded that you have to keep your work on the new layer. Now, create a shape with any of the brushes that you have. If you're not the artistic type, it doesn't matter if you produce a not so artsy-craftsy shape, just deal with it by experimenting. Remember, you're coming up with a custom brush, so it doesn't really matter if it looks great or not. When you're done with designing the brush, you need to select it. Press the Control key while clicking the layer where your brush is located. What you will have is the brush that you have just made. Give the Brush a new name by going to Edit -- Define Brush Preset. When you're done you can select you're custom brush at the Brush tab at the top left. Customize your brush using the settings available. When you're finish customizing, save the brush so you can use it in the future.

The Art History brush tool is just like the History brush. Both use a specified history state or snapshot as the source date. But as far as others are concerned, this is where their similarities end. The History brush will reproduce the snapshot pixel by pixel, while the Art History brush adds a special flair to the image. Art History brush reproduces the image with painterly effects. Although it's not a retouching tool, it allows users to paint with stylized strokes using the source data. You can test your creativity by experimenting with various paint styles, size, and tolerance options.
You will notice that using the tool, you have created a wonderful work of art with a simple snap shot. You can use it in conjunction with layers or the history brush to create art strokes that are meant to put interesting effects to your pictures. But it's not limited to that, as you can also make background textures and patterns.
This brush is located in the Toolbox. After choosing the tool, choose a brush size and style. Next, set in History palette source history state or snapshot and then paint. You can likewise adjust the blending mode, opacity and style, area and tolerance. These are all found in Photoshop Options bar.

I think that the Internet browsers are made for busy people. Just look at the shortcuts implemented in web browsers. The Bookmarks function in a web browser can save you a lot of time. Typing a website address into the address field can sometimes tire you, but I don't think keying in a few words here and there would be such a hassle, especially when you know that the effort would pay off. Besides, bookmarks are created to handle web address shortcuts.
Just like the Bookmarks tab in your web browser the Preset Manager in Photoshop version 7.0 can arrange your most-used brushes so you can locate them in an instant. You can put them in order of importance or arrange the brushes according to your favorites, instead of scrolling through the palette to find a particular brush when you need it.
All you have to do is go to EDIT, then PRESET MANAGER. When the window pops up, choose Brushes from the menu. By clicking your favorite brushes and dragging them to your desired position, you have already personalized your palette of brushes. If you want to move more than one brush you can do so, just shift and click on your desired brushes then move them all at once.

For the past few days, I have been surfing the internet for the latest Photoshop Brushes I could download. The reason for this is that I was getting a bit bored with the brushes I have in my personal computer. Then, I discovered the Sketches and Scribbles created by Dave. I must say that this guy's a genius when it comes to the Photoshop computer software.
His latest creation of Photoshop brushes is the Sketches and Scribbles. It is composed of nine brand-new brushes, which he based from the sketches, scribbles, and drawings he did over the past years. This is one of his favorite hobbies or pastimes, I mean creating new sketches for Adobe Photoshop. He is really a kind and generous man from sharing it with us through the internet.
If you want to have his sketches and scribbles, you can easily download it on his site. The only thing he asks of us is that we do not use it for commercial purpose, but only for personal use. Aside from that, he is hoping we could credit him for his work by linking his site.

Here, most of the brushes are related with the things you usually see in weddings like lace, flowers, bells, birds, rings, and a lot more.
However if you are a person who loves the sea creatures, the seashore set suits you. This will give you the chance to beautify your photo with shells of different colors and shapes. The last time I visited Photoshop Brushes site, Grunge Corners, Skull Cracks and Sheep Skulls aren't still in the list. Must've been a long time! Photoshop is the ultimate design package for digital artists. I've not yet finished experimenting with the last brushes and now they've come up with something new again.
Take a look at what Photoshop Brushes has to offer. Filters used to be my obsession, but now brushes are gaining ground because more and more innovations are coming out. As a member of Digital Art Organization, it's a real help for me whenever Photoshop releases new sets of custom brushes. They are the perfect tool for my illustrations and editing, apart from, er, the clone tool.
