I scanned the picture with 96 dpi (dot per inch) and I edited it with Photoshop. Here’s what I did: I went to “Edit Image” tab and selected “Levels”. Something would appear where you could adjust the lighting of your image. You would then see a dark-colored graphic with an adjustment tool below it. Drag the two arrows toward the graph. As simple as that, you will turn your old photo into a new one. Lastly, I printed it with my HP Photosmart printer.

After I edited our picture, I bought a picture frame with black edges and white background. I chose black and white to make the photo more formal and because it is apt for our white wall. I gave the finished gift to my mom when she was cooking our dinner. I didn’t greet her nor talked to her the whole day because I was planning to surprise her with a gift. My plan was successful because she was touched by what I did and she almost cried when she saw our picture. Thanks to photoshop, I was able to to make my mom happy.

Using vector art in your Adobe Photoshop is quite intricate, but I will simplify everything for you because this is an excellent design for web templates or graphics portfolio. In vector art, you can use any image that you want. You can also use any movie characters like the outrageous Chicken Little or Super Man. Just be sure that you won’t be using them for commercial use because you will have to pay for its rights.

Have you ever seen pictures that really rock the wild person in you? Well, if you have not, go to a place that has sidewalk murals. No, not those classy murals or flowery wall designs. Spot those nasty, gruesome, and seemingly unclean wall paints. More of vandalism as you call it, but it’s an art for someone who did it. One design that is quite bothering is blood splatter. Adobe Photoshop created this design for all those who want attitude on images.

What comes to your mind when you see a blood splatter? For some, like me, it’s terrifying to see dripping blood. For others, on the other hand, it pleases their eyes because they feel like a gothic or dark sensation that makes them feel more alive. Blood splatter brushes are for these people who want to express their wild personality. Not all blood splatter brushes users are wild though. It’s just that the design itself really has an attitude that exudes more mystery.

Function of Grayscale

Graphic artists use Grayscale as their secret weapon to combat the ancient look of an old photo. Aside from refreshing the old memories, their basic goal is to make them look as new as possible without losing the classic aura. This is the function of Grayscale. It retains the aura of the period of time when the picture was taken, as well as add a vintage look for added interest.
